Can Anyone Explain L-GPL?
May 2nd, 2007 — 2:34 pm —So one of the features that’s been asked for TEH is a method to clean Word characters. Definitely do-able… if I rip code from TinyMCE. TinyMCE is under the L-GPL. Can I pull code from TinyMCE and use it in TEH as long as I add copyright notices to the code? All these various licenses are very confusing.
Edit: Got it straightened out with help from my local open source guru. Can’t say I’m happy about the solution. We’ll see where it takes me.
