slate v0.3.3 Released
March 28th, 2007 — 6:46 pm —We did a really quiet update today of slate. Hopefully no one noticed any significant downtime. Small number of changes but I think they’ll have a big impact:
- We now offer a WYSIWYG-ish toolbar. You’ll find it within both the content editor and the blog editor. Hopefully it makes it easier for folks to edit and manage their content and will provide an easier learning curve for Textile. For developers out there you can learn more about it on our Textile Editor Plugin page.
- Editable regions pop-up into individual content editors. This will make it easier to copy and paste from one editable region into another.
We’ll be working on v0.3.4 now. Look for an upgrade to Rails 1.2.2 which will enable a lot of new features like system-wide tags.
