Update Round-up

March 21st, 2007 — 9:32 pm Dave

Don’t want people to think we’ve gone missing. Just some updates on happenings with slate.

v0.3.2 Updates
As we’ve noticed bugs we’ve been squashing them. Thanks to those folks who have sent in tickets detailing their issues. Again, if you notice a bug please let us know via a ticket in Trac .

v0.3.2 Screenshots
We also grabbed about eight screenshots of new features in slate. Just check out our screenshots page to see them.

1000th Commit
Chris made the 1000th commit to slate over the weekend. Of course it was a bug fix. Specifically one related to resources and RSS feeds. Yes, very exciting stuff! Currently we’re up to 1025 so well on our way to 2000. Hopefully I can help out a little more ;)

Textile Editor Plugin
Chris has done a great job wrapping up my JS-based Textile Editor into a Rails plugin. There are a few bugs outstanding that I still need to look at and fix. Once that’s done and we’ve put together some online docs for it we’ll be looking to share what we’ve come up with.

Status of Friday Releases
We will never do a Friday release again. Never ever.

Hello Czech Republic!
I love the Geo Map Overlay feature in Google Analytics. Looks like we’ve had a number of overseas visitors lately to slate info. So “Hi!” to those folks in the Netherlands, England, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Brazil, South Korea… and on and on. The reason why I bring up the Czech Republic specifically is because I’m really looking forward to the Euro qualifier between them and Germany on Saturday. Should be a fantastic game.
